Beauty Pro Collagen Face Masks

I was sent these face masks a couple of weeks ago and was really impressed. I had never tried the sheet type masks before so they were a first for me. I left them on for about 15-20 mins and really saw a difference.

I found these masks in particular to be really refreshing especially the one with green tea extract. My skin had been quite dry and these really helped hydrate the dry areas. They were really soothing and relaxing and I'd definitely try them again. I definitely noticed the difference in my skin but I also found them really relaxing which means they're the perfect mask for a pamper night. You can get them on the Beauty Belle website and are €5.88 each. They have lots of other types of masks too that I'm dying to try out.

Kiko Full Coverage Concealer

So I'm back from Florida :( so sad to be back but I think I'll put up a blog post with the very few pics we took of the holiday :P anyway...I wanted to come back with a beauty post so I thought I'd talk about this Kiko full coverage concealer that I've been really loving lately.

I picked this concealer up when I was in Barcelona and I must say, I absolutely love it! It's seriously full coverage and one of the best concealers I've used. It matches my foundation perfectly (I have shade 03) and it blends really easily and really well. The consistency is really nice; it's quite creamy, not too thick but doesn't slide off your face either.

I think it costs about €7/€8 and although you can't buy it in Ireland you can get it on their website. Shipping costs €5.90 and is free on orders over €49. I'll definitely be re-purchasing this when I run out of it as it really covers up redness and bigger spots better than any other concealer I've ever used.

Have you tried any other Kiko products? I'd love to try out some more so let me know in the comments below.

Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel with Active Charcoal Deep Cleansing Facial Scrub

I picked up this facial scrub from Boots a few months ago when my skin was feeling in need of some TLC! I had heard great things about charcoal facial scrubs and when I saw this from the Boots range I said I'd give it a go.

I have been absolutely loving it! It has tiny little micro beads that are great for exfoliating your face and really cleanse your pores and skin. The charcoal draws out any impurities and excess oil from the skin without leaving your skin feeling really dry. My face always feels really smooth afterwards and I must say I absolutely love this product and would definitely recommend it.

The facial scrub retails at €6.19 in Boots.

Boots Botanics Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm

I picked up this cleansing balm back in the summer when the hype about it became too much to handle! When I first tried it out, I really didn't like it. You apply it onto dry skin and I really didn't like the oily feeling on my face.

However, recently I rediscovered it and said I'd give it another go. The results? I love it!!!! Especially for eye make up! So you basically rub it onto dry skin and then using a muslin cloth (I actually switched to a face cloth as I found it better) you just wash it all off. It's amazing for taking off stubborn eye make up. You just gently rub it over your eyes and then rinse with a cloth and warm water. I always use my Neutrogena Facial Wash afterwards just to make sure my skin is fully cleansed. It's just as quick as using Micellar Water and the results are so much better.

It is regularly on offer in Boots for around €5/€6 so it's definitely worth trying out then when you can get it for much cheaper. Let me know what you think of cleansing balms in the comments below.

Bioderma Micellar Water

I've been trying this Bioderma* micellar water for a couple of weeks now ever since my Garnier one ran out. My honest opinion? It's amazing! I much prefer it to the Garnier one as I find it's not breaking me out at all. It removes my make up a lot easier and more thoroughly which I love. It's a perfect make up remover for at night especially when I'm feeling lazy and don't want to deep cleanse my skin. It also works really well for taking off stubborn eye make up! It has purifying agents in it and is also alcohol and fragrance free making it perfect for sensitive skin.

The size I have is the perfect travel size and has lasted quite long. It retails at €5.50 for the travel size in Sam McCauley's but it also comes in a bigger 250ml size.

* Bioderma kindly sent me this product. All opinions are 100% honest and entirely my own.

Bioderma Pore Refiner

A few months ago, I received some Bioderma* products to try out. The one that caught my attention most was the Pore Refiner. I have quite large pores around my cheeks and nose and using this product has really helped reduce them in size and they definitely aren't as obvious as before. I've been using this very regularly, usually applying it around my T-zone before I put on my make up.

I can honestly say I have been SO impressed with this product. You only need a small amount and it has a matte finish so doesn't leave your skin feeling oily or shiny. It also acts as a great primer before applying your make up.

It has a really fresh scent which is great in the mornings as I feel it helps to wake up my very tired looking skin! It's really hydrating on the skin and my face felt so refreshed after applying it each time.

Overall, I found that this product really reduced the size of my pores and I was super impressed by it. My skin felt really refreshed and hydrated after I applied it. My skin wasn't greasy after applying it and it dried it very quickly. Overall I am really happy with this product and would definitely recommend it for those who have larger pores.

Bioderma Pore Refiner retails for approx. 18 and can be purchased from a range of pharmacies and online shops including Sam McCauley's and Cloud 10 Beauty.

Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Exfoliating Face Scrub

I've been using this exfoliator on my face for a couple of months now and I thought I'd share my thoughts on it with you. I got it in Boots for less than 3 and I've really been loving it. It has a really refreshing scent (tea tree) and I find that the little micro beads in it really deep cleanse my pores. My face is left feeling really smooth afterwards and I really feel like it has thoroughly been cleansed.

First, I use a face cloth or muslin cloth to dampen my face, apply the exfoliator ensuring it's massaged into my pores and rinse off with warm water and a face cloth or muslin cloth. Simple! I also will only use this once a week as exfoliators can be quite harsh on the skin if they're used too often.

Overall, I really like this product and it's great if you're on a skincare budget!

Boots Botanics Radiance Balm

I finally gave into the hype and purchased the infamous radiance balm from Boots' Botanics range. Was it worth it? Oh ya!

I absolutely love this product. I apply it under my foundation and allow a few minutes for it to dry in. I've found that it really gives my face such a lovely, healthy glow. I've really noticed the difference it can make and I think it's great for making tired skin look much more awake! It really brightens up my face and I've found that the radiant glow lasts all day. It's super affordable and does last quite a long time. If you haven't already tried this product, you need to get your hands on it now! It's RRP is 7.99 but is usually on offer for 3.99.

Dream Dots for Spots Review

A few months ago, I was lucky enough to have been sent Dream Dots for Spots * which are an overnight treatment patch for spots. This was literally perfect timing as when I had received them, my skin was at it's all time worst so I figured I would give these a go.

It says you put the patch on the spot overnight for about 6-10 hours. I usually put them on in the late evening after I've deep cleansed my face and would take it off the following morning. I could already see great results from the first night the patch had been on. The spot had reduced in size, the swelling was also reduced and the spot was less red-concealer now began to actually work at this point for me! I put another one on the following night and again the spot had continued to improve. I couldn't believe the results I got in such a short space of time. I now rely on them so much especially for days that I want my skin looking it's best as I know I'll get the results I want. I've been using these a good few months now and I must say I've never used a product that has worked so fast before. You literally get results overnight it's amazing!

Dream Dots are available on their website and also in Amazon, Sam McCauley's, McCabes Pharmacy etc. and retail around €15! I seriously recommend them!

My Night Time Skin Care Routine

A few of you have been asking me about what skin care products I use and I'm only getting around to actually writing about it now (sorry!) and I thought I'd do a post on my night time skin care routine. I use very basic, minimal and affordable skin care products and, if I'm honest, they're not used on a regular basis (shoot me now!). I would say I have a normal skin type although I regularly would have a small few spots and blemishes and find I am never to be without concealer haha! To be honest, I have only properly started moisturising in the last 6 months (I'm not actually sure why you guys asked for this post, it's getting worse as I go on :P) as I was always very lazy and couldn't be bothered going to all that effort before bed. I have been switching between products but I'll go through them now :)

I start off by taking off my makeup with a Johnson's baby wipe. I know baby wipes are supposedly really bad for your skin but they work for me and I've been using them for years. They also don't get right into your pores which is why I often use a deep cleanser afterwards.

I then wash my face with really warm/almost hot water (usually just in the shower) to open up my pores. I only use my hands for this and every few mins I'll run my hands under the hot water and hold them up to my face to let the steam soak into my skin. This always leaves my face feeling so much more soft and cleaner.

After my shower is when I'd go to use a deep cleanser. I've been using the Clearasil Spot Control Deep Clean Cleanser, similar here and here, recently which I find works well. I just put a small bit on a cotton pad and rub it into my face. This is when you really get rid of the left over make up as it sinks into your pores.

Finally, I moisturise. I've been switching between this Aldi face cream (which is AMAZING) and the Johnson's Face Care Daily Essentials Oil Balancing Light Day Fluid. If I use the Clearasil deep cleanser I use the Johnson's one as it's much lighter on the skin. I use this as my normal everyday moisturiser and I find it works really well. I use the Lacura Beauty Cream from Aldi if my skin is after breaking out as it is amazing for getting rid of blemishes quickly but I find it really thick and heavy on my face which is why I use it without other face products.

So that's all for my night time skin care routine :) I would love if you would send me on yours so I can try out new products :) Let me know what you think :)
