Mustard and Grey - The Perfect Autumn Combo?

Hey guys! I know it has literally been FOREVER!!!!! I've been so bad with blogging lately :( I kinda didn't know what to write about, lost motivation and we were obviously on holidays for most of a month so I've been deep in post holiday blues since :P Since we've come back I've been mad writing some posts so I'm definitely more motivated now but would love to hear suggestions for blog posts so please message me on any of my social media accounts if you have any ideas.

I'm also in the middle of writing a blog series on Orlando. As most of you probably know, we've been to Orlando on our holidays for the last 5 years. We get asked so many of the same questions that I thought I'd finally write a few posts that'll hopefully answer them. I'm almost done so I'll start posting them soon. Anyway moving on to this post...

Last week, my sister graduated from college. I didn't know what to wear and bought this dress (currently on sale) to wear around Christmas as I thought it'd be perfect for that time of year. I had bought another dress for her graduation and the morning of the graduation I changed my mind and went for this mustard one :P It's not normally a colour I'd go for but I have to say I love it. I did go down a size in it as it was quite a big fitting. I also picked up these grey shoes on sale the day before and had no intentions of wearing them with this dress. I didn't think they'd be a great colour combo but when I tried them on together I loved it. I also had a long grey coat over it too which matched the shoes.

Karora Cosmetics CC Cream

I've been trying out this Karora Cosmetics CC cream* for the past few weeks and although initially I didn't love it, it did grow on me and became my go to foundation especially when I was on hols.

I find this CC cream really hard to blend for some reason. It applies really muddy and patchy but I find if I use a non-dense stippling brush after applying it, it blends it out much easier. It has quite good coverage and feels really light on the skin which I really liked as I was using it in a very hot Florida climate! It had good staying power and I didn't need any touch-ups.

What I really like is that it comes in one shade. That may scare some of you but it adapts to the colour of your skin and although I can only speak from my perspective, it definitely worked for me. It did apply a little darker but as I blended it out it was really natural. Again, perfect for summer even when I became more tanned - no more packing 3 different shades of foundation!

It retails at around €25 and can be purchased from their website, along with Cloud 10 BeautySam McCauley and plenty of other pharmacies I'm sure.

This was my first time trying out a Karora product and I'm really looking forward to trying more from their range.

Dublin Zoo & Tayto Park

A few weeks, as you'll already have known if you follow my instagram and YouTube channel, myself and Kevin spent the weekend in Dublin visiting Dublin Zoo and Tayto Park in Meath. The weather was absolutely amazing which is surprising for Ireland but it definitely made us enjoy the trip a lot more.

We spent Saturday afternoon in the zoo and loved it. I've only ever been there once and it was Kevin's first time there so we really spent as much time as we could exploring. We really enjoyed it - the baby elephants were by far my fav! you can watch our vlog of the trip here to see the animals up close! I'd definitely recommend it to people of all ages, especially families, as there's lots to see and do there.

On Sunday we visited Tayto Park in Meath which is a park that's a half zoo, half amusement park. The animals here were a lot better than Dublin Zoo though there was a lot less of them. We even got to see tigers and snow leopards being fed which was pretty cool. Again the weather was amazing and I left with disastrous tan lines from my shoes and poor Kevin left with scalded arms :P but we had a fab day nonetheless :P Before we headed home we did the Cu Chulainn rollercoaster which is Europe's first inverted wooden coaster (it's actually a car but has a banked turn that's more than 90 degrees so that's why it's inverted :P). The rollercoaster was amazing and much faster and smoother than we were expecting. Kinda disappointed that we left it till last and only got to do it once but we'll be back another time to do it then! They also had zip lines, climbing walls and lots of kiddie rides making it a great day out for everyone! We also vlogged this trip which you can see here.

Let me know if you've been to either of these places and what you thought of them!

Baby B Browne Tan Review

Hey everyone!

I'm finally back with a beauty blog post! This time it's about tan. I'll be honest, I very very rarely wear fake tan. I'm lucky in the sense that I do have sallow enough skin so don't exactly need it but as we tend to go to Florida on hols during their hurricane season, I don't tend to get much of a tan and so I've been paler than usual lately.

When Baby B Browne* contacted me to ask if I would like to try out their tan I was delighted as it was perfect timing seeing as I had been looking around for reviews on different tans. I had heard great things about this tan and was really looking forward to putting it to the test.

I wanted a natural look with this tan so left it on for the minimum amount of time which was 4 hours and then showered it off. It was really easy to apply and didn't have the fake tan smell which was great. The results? I was in love!!!! The tan was so natural and came out completely streak free. It also washed off really well and faded evenly. I've already recommended it to people and they've loved it too! It's definitely gonna be my go to tan from now on.

              Before                              After

You can buy the tan here for around €20.

Let me know you're fav tan in the comments below!
