Blogmas 2015

For the past two years (well half of last year :P), I've been doing Blogmas where I post every day in December until Christmas. This year, I'm hoping to actually stick to it and post every day and I've got lots of posts planned. From various gift guides to decorations, I'm going to talk you through all things Christmas this December! If you have any ideas for posts please let me know on my social media or through email.

Myself and Kevin will also be doing Vlogmas (vlogging every day until Christmas) so make sure you're subscribed to our YouTube channel so you don't miss out!

Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Peel Off Face Mask

Hey Everyone :)

Hope you're all having a nice evening! Today's post is all about this super affordable peel off face mask from good ole Boots. I picked this up during the summer when it was only €3.99 and have been using it ever since.

I use this face mask after I've deep cleansed my face and want to give it a little more TLC! The mask comes in a squeezy type bottle and you just put some on your hand and apply it all over your face. The mask will start to dry and your face will start to feel a little tighter (which I love for some weird reason :P) and then you peel it off and give your face a rinse - simple! Avoid the eyebrows though - my clumsiness first led me to give my eyebrows a little trim when I mistakingly got some in them and had to peel off the hairs with the mask :P (Thank God for brow pencils!).

This mask is amazing especially given the price. It really left my skin feeling so soft and smooth and properly cleansed. I definitely recommend it!

Let me know what your fav face mask is!

Elf Cosmetics Make Up Mist & Set

I bought this setting spray when we were in Florida for two reasons; the first was because it was ridiculously cheap at around $3 and the second was I've been wanting to try out a setting spray for ages now and wasn't sure if they were worth the hype or money.

This little bottle is great! I don't really have oily skin and my foundation is quite matte but this setting spray is still great and still works for me. I use it when I need my make up to last longer than normal and I find it really makes it stay in place for a lot longer. I also find that it's really easy to touch up your make up later on throughout the day even though you've spritzed the setting spray on your face earlier on. It contains aloe, green tea and cucumber so it's super hydrating and refreshing. It dries really quickly and doesn't cause any make up (or more importantly mascara!) to run. I really recommend it!

Bioderma Micellar Water

I've been trying this Bioderma* micellar water for a couple of weeks now ever since my Garnier one ran out. My honest opinion? It's amazing! I much prefer it to the Garnier one as I find it's not breaking me out at all. It removes my make up a lot easier and more thoroughly which I love. It's a perfect make up remover for at night especially when I'm feeling lazy and don't want to deep cleanse my skin. It also works really well for taking off stubborn eye make up! It has purifying agents in it and is also alcohol and fragrance free making it perfect for sensitive skin.

The size I have is the perfect travel size and has lasted quite long. It retails at €5.50 for the travel size in Sam McCauley's but it also comes in a bigger 250ml size.

* Bioderma kindly sent me this product. All opinions are 100% honest and entirely my own.

P.S. Love Highlighter by Primark

I've been looking for this highlighter for a good few months now and it was constantly sold out in every Primark/Penneys I went to! I finally got my hands on it a few weeks ago and I have to say it was definitely worth the wait. At €2.50 I hadn't much hope for it but I must say I have been super impressed. The highlighter itself is a subtle shimmer shade that is perfect for a day time look. However, if you're looking for more of a glow for an evening look, it is buildable! I personally love it and it has become a staple piece in my make up bag for my every day look. I would definitely recommend it and for the price, how can you refuse?

Wet n Wild Lipstick - Ravin' Raisin

I picked up this gorgeous plum lipstick while on holidays in Florida and I must say I absolutely love it. I think it's the perfect shade for A/W and I can't wait to wear it more often. The lipstick itself is super affordable (can be bought in Penneys) and the results are amazing! It lasts all day, managed to stick out a very chocolatey and creamy Starbucks Frappe in Florida and isn't too matte which for me is a huge bonus as I hate matte lipsticks! I absolutely love the colour and would totally recommend it if you're looking for a perfect plum shade for this season!

Let me know if you've tried any other shades in this range as I'd love to try out more!

Shine Bright with Opera Lane - Cork Fashion Week

So a couple of weeks ago I was invited to an Opera Lane event as part of Cork Fashion Week. It was a fab evening where I got to catch up with fellow Cork bloggers and see an amazing display of fashion from Opera Lane's Autumn/Winter 2015 collection. The pieces that were shown were absolutely stunning and perfect for everyone's style - casual, comfortable and stylish! I for one will definitely be making a trip to Opera Lane soon as I definitely NEED some of those pieces! It was a great night and a fab way to end Cork Fashion Week 2015.
